Privacy Act 2020

Privacy statement

This statement explains how we handle personal information on this website. It is written to align with the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) of the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. A fuller customer-facing privacy policy and DPA apply under contract.

What we collect

On this site we collect only what you choose to give us through the briefing form: your name, work email, organisation, and optionally your sector, sovereignty requirement, and a short message. We practise data minimisation — we don't ask for more than we need to respond.

This site sets no tracking cookies, runs no third-party trackers, and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. Our web server keeps standard request logs (including IP address) for security and reliability, retained only as long as needed for those purposes.

Why we collect it & how we use it

We use your enquiry details solely to respond to you and arrange a briefing, security review, or pilot. We will not use them for unrelated marketing, and we will not sell or trade your information.

Storage & security

Enquiries are stored on New Zealand-operated infrastructure, protected by encryption in transit and access controls. We retain them only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship.

Disclosure

We don't disclose your information except as necessary to respond to you, or where required by law. We do not transfer your enquiry data offshore.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to delete your enquiry. Contact privacy@nonzero.trade.

Complaints

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can complain to us first, and then to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).

This statement covers the public website. Customers under contract receive a fuller privacy policy and Data Processing Agreement governing service data.
